Future History Now would like to show love and gratitude to first responders with this collaborative artwork created while observing social distancing: “Captain Compassion”... many individual parts literally, figuratively, and virtually coming together to create a greater whole... ONE COMMUNITY, ONE LOVE!

20 individual canvases and art kits were distributed to youth via FHN Teaching Artists, along with design instructions for each quadrant. Each canvas was painted separately by the young participants without knowledge of the finished composition. Upon completion and rounding up the finished canvases, the individual parts were attached to create one large-scale unified composition: The Captain Compassion Mural Project.
