Future History Now – F. Joseph Gormley

LEGAL COUNSEL

F. Joseph Gormley is counsel to Future History Now. After spending time as a canvasser for the League of Conservation Voters and then completing law school at the University of Maryland in 1993, Gormley began his legal career in large law firms doing national and international litigation and merger work. After leaving large firm practice to form his first boutique in Annapolis, Maryland in 2004, Gormley became active in the local music and arts scene and became close to such artists as Jimi HaHa and Jeff Huntington. If you know either of those two you will be unsurprised that subsequently Gormley became active in defending the rights of artists. Gormley continues to work with FHN in order to better support art and its transformative power to bridge cultural divides, produce effective integration by dissemination of information and engender ownership of and responsibility for public space through participation in creation.
