FHN is proud to have collaborated with Bike AAA (Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County), Lindale Middle School, Anne Arundel Police Bike Patrol, Rec & Parks, and PedalPower Kids on a 2-phase project that began in the Spring of 2021 and produced the first bike safety playground in Anne Arundel County adorned with ground surface murals.

More than 40 artists, students, and volunteers from Bike AAA, Bike Maryland, Baltimore Bicycle Club, Velo City Riders, and Lindale parents joined forces to paint 7 mural islands and decorative pedestrian paths throughout the bicycle safety course.

Bring your kids, bikes and helmets to try out the course and soak in the art near the lower parking lot at Lindale Middle School. The course is open to the public.

Funding for this project came from Bike AAA and the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County.
